  • EE provided the radio communications for the Youth and Shelter Services (YESS) 12th Annual Duck Derby, where people buy a duck for a $5 donation, and it “races” across the Pond at Jordan Creek Mall, the grand prize winner collecting $10,000. It is one of the main fund raisers for YESS, an organization to protect children and empower families.

  • EE again supported the JDRF walk at DMACC in Ankeny for their fight against Type I diabetes with radio communications for the event.

  • The 4th annual Food Truck Throw Down at the Des Moines Social Club drew nearly 5,000 people and over 15 food trucks with samples of their culinary delights, and EE again was a supporting sponsor and provided radio communications to help coordinate this event.

  • East High School of Des Moines, which boasts as having one of the largest Alumni associations in the world, recently held their 142th Annual All Alumni Celebration. During this celebration it inducted EE President, Mark Clark into its Hall of Fame. Mark had previously served as its Alumni Association and Alumni Foundation President and was previously also honored by being selected to its Athletic Hall of Fame for years of volunteer service to its athletic programs.
