  • Last month, the Iowa School Safety Alliance (ISSA) announced the winner of its 2019’s “See Something, Say Something” poster contest. The contest, sponsored by Electronic Engineering, asked middle school students, asking middle school students to create a poster focused on that motto and that correlated with both ISSA’s mission in assisting schools in preparing for, mitigating, responding to and recovering from natural and man-made threats and incidents. There were prizes for top school and top poster creator/artists.



    The winning school was Central Lee School District. It also coincided with the School Safety week Proclamation signing with Governor Reynolds on Oct. 25, 2019 at the State Capitol.

    The winning poster was done by Lydia Garmoe, of Central Lee Middle School. The poster was then displayed on various billboards in Des Moines.

  • The Sioux City office of Electronic Engineering is donating warehouse space for the annual US Marine Corps, Toys For Tots Campaign in the Siouxland area.

  • Electronic Engineering continues to provide seasonal radio communications for the Iowa Wild Hockey and Iowa Wolves Basketball teams.

  • Electronic Engineering donated radios to the Festival of Trees, an annual fundraiser to benefit Blank Children’s Hospital of Des Moines.
